If you're looking to get out and explore the land on foot, the Keystone area offers a variety of hiking trails the entire family can enjoy:
Timbers Trail
Access: From US Hwy 6, turn South onto East Keystone Road, left on Gondola Road, and park in the Montezuma parking lot.Walk through River Run Village toward the gondola terminal. After crossing the second bridge, look for the "Timbers Trail" marker on the west (right) side of the path.
Difficulty: Easy

Description: Scenic shortcut through large pines along the Snake River
Granny's Trail
Access: From US Hwy 6, turn South onto West Keystone Road, turn left at the "t" intersection, and right at Soda Ridge Road. Follow Soda Ridge for approximately .5 miles, turn left onto Keystone Gulch Road. Look for "Granny's Trail" marker on the East (left) side of the Gulch Road, near the parking area

Description: Travel the valley floor from Keystone Gulch Road to the Mountain House base area
Keystone Gulch Road
Access: From US Hwy 6, turn South onto West Keystone Road. Turn left at the "t" intersection, and right at Soda Ridge Road. Follow Soda Ridge for approximately .5 miles, then turn left onto Keystone Gulch Road.

Trail length: 3 miles one way
Open to: hiking, mountain biking, motorized vehicles (ATVs, dirt bikes, cars), cross country skiing, snowshoeing
Description: Dirt service road from the Outpost to the valley floor. Travel between North Peak and The Outback mountains, following the Keystone Gulch Creek and passing several beaver ponds. Popular uphill route. Please use caution as you may encounter motorized vehicles.
Snake River Trail
Access: From US Hwy 6, turn North onto Tennis Court Road. Park in the Keystone Lodge parking lot, walk through tunnel to the Lakeside Village. Follow the stairs down into the Village, and take the path to the right side of the Lake. Cross the bridge heading toward the Seasons Condos. Look for the trail to the right at the top of the stairs.

Description: Walk this scenic trail as it winds alongside the Snake River, eventually taking you back to the paved bike path and the East side of Keystone's River Course.
