Team Check-In:
Thursday, November 29th from 5 – 9 p.m. is ADVANCED TEAM CHECK-IN at the Green Light. Everyone is encouraged to come to the Green Light in River Run for great food and drink specials. All teams can sign their waivers, get their t-shirts (limited to first 200 people to sign up) and credentials, and be ready to go first thing Friday morning with "NO HASSLES!"
Friday, November 30th from 6:30 – 9 a.m. at the Green Light. All teams must check-in at the Green Light; everyone MUST sign a Liability Waiver, get team credentials, and be scanned prior to 9:59 a.m. Friday morning, otherwise you will be disqualified from the cash drawings.
RULES for the Cash Drawings:
THIS IS NOT A COMPETITION! FAST SKIING AND RIDING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED – YOU CAN BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE MOUNTAIN FOR VIOLATING THE SKIER SAFETY ACT AND YOUR TEAM WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.
No active/current Vail Resort, SSV, KSMT nor The Keystone Center employees may participate to win the cash drawings. The teams with an employee member are eligible to win travel vouchers for up to 4 people, valid until July 30, 2008. Employees must pay approximately 8% tax on the value of your prize. Restrictions apply. If one member from your team is a Vail Resort, The Keystone Center, SSV or KSMT employee, you are considered an employee team. All teams will be eligible for all other raffle prizes.
All Teams competing in the 36 Hours of Keystone Team Challenge must book the 36 Hours of Keystone Team Challenge package through www.keystoneresort.com or call keystone reservations at (800) 355-8471. Teams are only required to lodge Friday, November 30, 2007.
Every team will have ONE credential per teams of 2, 3 or 4 people. One person in the team must be wearing the credential at all times while skiing or riding. One member of your team MUST get your team credential punched at the BOTTOM of the gondola every hour. It is YOUR responsibility to make sure you get "punched" before you get on the gondola! If you miss an hourly punch, you are eliminated from the cash drawings, no questions. No double punches will be allowed, for example - if you arrive at the bottom of the gondola and missed the previous hour punch by a minute – you are disqualified – so pay attention to the time and make sure you are at the bottom of the gondola within the hour! The night before at Green Light and that morning at check-in, there will be a time-sync, so you can sync your watch to the one at the base of the gondola.
One person from your team must complete one run per hour for 36 hours. (Each team member 2, 3 or 4 people, must complete at least one of the 36 laps.) Your team members' names will be checked as you receive your punch at the bottom of the gondola. Additionally, you must exit the gondola at the top; no looping in the Keystone Gondola permitted.
ALL PUNCHES WILL ONLY OCCUR AT THE BOTTOM OF THE RIVER RUN GONDOLA. The A-51 lift will be open for all 36 hours as well; it is your responsibility to leave the A-51 area, your condo or any other location and get your hourly punch at the gondola on your team credential.
"TEAM LINE" – There will be a team line at the gondola lift line! All teams MUST use this lift line to ensure they are scanned properly and credentials are punched.
Your team’s first punch must occur prior to 9:59 a.m. on 11/30/07 or you will be disqualified. We reserve the right to double check your scans via the ticket scanners and confirm the time scanned for eligibility.
Last chair for the "36-hours" will be called at 8:45 p.m. on Saturday, 12/1/07. The FINAL scan of the event occurs on Saturday, 12/1/07 at 8:59 p.m. Once you complete your 36th run for the team, please report to the Green Light and turn in your team credential to the KSMT awards table for the cash prize drawings by 9:15 p.m. The cash prize drawings will occur at 9:30 p.m. YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN ALL PRIZES.
Giveaways – everyone is entered to win giveaway prizes at the awards party –YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN ALL PRIZES.
DISCLAIMER:
No active/current Vail Resort, SSV, KSMT nor The Keystone Center employees may participate to win the cash drawings. Other "team" give-away prizes will be awarded to these employees for completing one lap every hour for 36 hours. If one member from your team is a Vail Resort, The Keystone Center, SSV or KSMT employee, you are considered an employee team.
All TEAM participants MUST sign a Vail Resorts liability waiver prior to beginning the 36 Hours of Keystone.
All participants MUST provide their seasons pass number or the lift ticket number for tracking purposes on the liability waiver.
Each team member 2, 3 or 4 people, must complete at least one of the 36 laps.
Participant’s responsibility to get credential punched at bottom of gondola.
Keystone, KSMT, The Keystone Center, Summit Daily News and all other sponsors are not responsible if the participant is either injured or if the gondola malfunctions during the 36 Hours of Keystone.
In the event of the gondola stopping for an extended period of time, arrangements will be made for 36-Hour participants.
We reserve the right to double check your scans via the ticket scanners and confirm the time scanned for eligibility.
Grand Finale Awards Party
YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN ANY & ALL PRIZES.
All team credentials MUST be turned into event staff while boarding the 36th hour gondola ride.
The Grand prize drawing will occur at 9:30 p.m. YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN ALL PRIZES.
Give-away prizes – everyone is entered to win give-away prizes at the awards party –YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN ALL PRIZES.
Some prizes may be subject to expiration. Keystone is not responsible for prizes not claimed before end date.
